NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 01-2023 CONFIRMING THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND ITS ZONING POWER

Please take notice that on December 21, 2023, at its regular meeting, the Township Board of Eagle Township adopted the Ordinance to Amend Ordinance No. 01-2023 Confirming the Planning Commission and its Zoning Power, which amends Ordinance No. 01-2023 confirming the Eagle Township Planning Commission’s zoning authority under the Michigan Planning Enabling Act, Public Act 33 of 2008, MCL 125.3801, et seq., and the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act, Public Act 110 of 2006, MCL 125.3101 et seq., provides for the zoning powers, duties and limitations of that planning commission; and repeals any ordinance or parts of ordinances or resolutions in conflict with the ordinance.

The Eagle Township Ordinance to Amend Ordinance No. 01-2023 Confirming the Planning Commission and its Zoning Power contains the following sections and catch lines: Section 1: Amendment to Section 1, Scope, Purpose, and Intent, Ordinance No. 01-2023; Section 2: Amendment to Section 11, Zoning Powers, Ordinance No. 01-2023; Section 3: Severability; Section 4: Repeal; Section 5: Effective Date, which is immediate upon this publication.
